Barbara Gail Teeter LUBBOCK-Barbara Gail Teeter of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the age of 69. She was born Nov. 9, 1944, in Brownfield to Johnie and Hazel (Irvin) Young. Gail married Sheldon Teeter on Oct. 6, 1973, in Brownfield. She worked as a housewife and was a member of Grace Assembly of God. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of more than 40 years, Sheldon; son, Terry Teeter of Lubbock; daughters, Melissa Tate and husband Harvey of Brownfield, Shellie Mulkey and husband Don of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, and Tana Reyes of Lubbock; two brothers, Bobby Young and wife Pat, and Wayman Young and wife Cora, all of Brownfield; three sisters, Patsy Phillips and husband Loyd of Lubbock, Sandra Pennington and husband Terry of Dallas, and Linda Monroe of Brownfield; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Gail was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wayne Young, in 1985. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
