Funeral services for Donald “Don” L. Harwood will be held 2pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Don passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Ira. He was born June 29, 1929 in Fillmore, ND to Lisle and Rose Harwood. Don served honorably in the United States Air Force for 26 years where he received the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Don was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Harwood, parents, Lisle and Rose Harwood, daughter, Belinda Briggs, grand daughter, Cindy Paulson, great grandson, Baby Gage, and two brothers, Bruce and Gerald Harwood.
Don is survived by daughters, Quita Smith and Becky Waldrop; sons, Alvin Chadwick and Robert Stevens; sister, Connie Estenson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
