The Seagraves City Council met and discussed the upcoming budget expansion for the city substation and remodel work that is needing to be done at the city’s police station.
Seagraves has recently hired a new City Secretary. He was able to look into the city’s books and found an oversight that resulted in the town getting a refund of around $50,000 to help pay for the work being done on the police station and substation.
There is an upcoming election for the Mayoral and council positions. Current City Councilwoman Debra Middleton is seeking re-election in District 2.
