Lana Lisa Blankenship passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, in Meadow, TX. Lisa was born April 30, 1960, in Lubbock, TX to Russell and Tena (Curtis) Hendricks.
She was raised in Meadow, TX and graduated from Meadow High School in 1978.
Lisa was a beautiful soul. She was kind and compassionate to everyone she met. She took care of so many and loved deeply. Lisa loved spending time at the lake and had an endless devotion to her children. Lisa never met an animal that she did not love. She rescued countless dogs and loved them all.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by 3 children, whom she loved fiercely; Kassi Rodgers, Krissy Warren (husband Charlie) and Rowdy Blankenship; 5 precious grandchildren; Justin, Ava, Aria, Jaxon, Channing, Dane and Russy. Lisa is also survived by 2 brothers; Reagan Hendricks and Tony Hendricks and 2 sisters; Linda Brinson and Beverly Garrison.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, July 19th at the Brownfield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20th at 10:00 am at the Church of Christ in Meadow, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to The Haven Animal Care Shelter in Lisa’s name at 4501 N. FM 1729 Lubbock, TX 79403.
