Larry Ray Hough (1945 – 2018)

Larry Ray Hough, age 73, of Palestine and formerly of Sherman went home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 21, 1945, in Brownfield, Texas to Willie Ray and Mary Francis Hough.
Larry lived in Palestine for 9 years, retiring from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer. After his retirement, he worked at Wal-Mart as a security guard. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Hough; and his sisters, Dot Russ and Martha Moore.
Larry is survived by two sons, Billy Hough and wife Mary of Palestine and Jason Hough of Whitesboro; two grandchildren, Anna and Lucas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services and inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 11 AM at Land of Memory Cemetery in Palestine under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
