Services for Randal DeBusk will be held Thursday, September 3rd, 2015, 11:00am at First United Methodist Church in Morton, Texas, with Lyndall Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Cemetery.

Randal died August 31, 2015 in Lubbock. He was born July 2, 1948 in Brownfield, Texas to Robert L. Jr. and Glengayle (Lilly) DeBusk. He married Jeanetta Rowden in Brownfield on February 13, 1970.

Randal was a Vietnam veteran and served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant before he retired after 22 years of service. He was the former Mayor of Morton, Texas and a City Councilman. Randal was a former police officer in Washington, D.C. and Morton. He was a Mason, and a member of the Morton Volunteer Fire Department. Randal was also a member of the VFW and the First United Methodist Church in Morton. He enjoyed playing golf, shooting skeet and watching his grandchildren play active sports. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin sisters, Jean and Jane DeBusk.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanetta; his son, Brad DeBusk of Morton, Texas; his two daughters, Leslie Kirk and her husband, Kevin of Morton, Texas and Laura DeBusk of Burnet, Texas; his sister, Sandra DeBord of Brownfield, Texas; his brother, Tommy DeBusk and his wife, Donna of Brownfield, Texas; and 10 grandchildren, Devin Coleman, Chesley Kirk, Austin Kirk, Dylan DeBusk, Garrett Baker, Bryce DeBusk, Peyton Baker, Alison DeBusk, Blayne DeBusk and Wayatt Kirk.

The family suggest memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 110 SW 4th Street, Morton, Texas.
