Last week Seagraves Police Chief McAuley, Officer Flores and Officer Appleton (SJ) took K-9 Niki to the Seagraves Elementary where students learned about Niki including where he came from, what he does, how he helps, how he was trained, how old he is and the proper way to behave around him.

The children asked several questions including questions about how high he can jump and how fast he can run. The kiddos each got a badge sticker and got to pet Niki, if they wanted to.

“Seagraves has the very best Elementary School Teachers and students anywhere, and it was a real treat for the administration to allow us the honor of talking to the kids today,” said a report posted on the Seagraves Police Department’s Facebook.
