On Monday, June 6, at 7 p.m., there will be a mandatory parent/student orientation meeting for those applying for the 2023 ACES Scholarship. Be sure to go to this if you are a candidate for May 2023 graduation and want to be a part of this great scholarship program. Parents must attend. For more information, contact MJ Jackson at 806.638.1844 or Judy Kennedy at 806.632.4868. This will be at the ACES building.

June 13 will be an open date.

On June 20, a Scholarship Reception will be held for the 2022 Scholarship winners and their families. This will be at 7 p.m. at the ACES building.

On June 27, a special night of fun will be held! The ACES Family Pool Night!! This will be free, and will be from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. ACES will be running the concession stand. This will be at the Brownfield Family Aquatic Center.

In July, there is no slow down of activity! ACES Kids Art Camp will be held on each Thursday evening from 6 – 7 p.m. This class will be led by members of the Brownfield Art Association. Kids ages 8 – 12 are eligible to participate in this class. But, there are only 12 spaces available! So call today to reserve your spot! 806.632.4868 or 806.638.1844. Don’t miss out on this fun class that will be something your kids could use for a lifetime.

July 18 will be the second ACES Family Night at the Pool. Free admission and an ACES concession stand. This will be at the Brownfield Family Aquatic Center and will be from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

On Saturday, July 23rd, the Annual Health Fair on The Square will be held. The Fair will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and all of it will be around the historic Brownfield Downtown Square!

This event has become one of the biggest downtown events and grows each year. There will be, of course, the regular health check and information vendors, plus arts and crafts vendors, and this year there will be a special “Bring Out Your Big Rigs” event. This will be a great time for kiddos (and adults) to get their hands on some of the biggest pieces of equipment we see being used in our county. From Bucket Trucks to 18-wheelers. From Tractors to Road Graders. Expect to see it all there! This Big Rig event is being sponsored by BIDCorp!

If you have an idea for a vendor booth, contact Judy or MJ at the numbers above.

And ACES will have a great concession stand for this day of fun!!

Is that a great summer, or what? Don’t miss a minute of it!
