by Eric

Anthony Don Blakley was called home Tuesday, November 6, 2018, near Lamesa, Texas. He was only two miles from his job site that morning when his truck and a SandBox logistics tractor-trailer collided at a T-intersection.

A celebration of his life will be 3:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Electra Community Center. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Anthony was born July 6, 1987, to Donald Ray and Susan Blakley of Electra. He was a long-time resident of Electra and graduated from Electra High School in 2005.

Anyone that had the privilege of meeting Anthony will never forget his laugh and his playful personality. He loved to joke around and have a good time. He became an Electrician in 2016 and travel worked for the duration of his career. He was proud of his accomplishments, as were his family, and co-workers described him as a hard worker who enjoyed staying busy, making the days go by quickly and doing things right the first time. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Nicole, twin babies, Avalynn and Zachary, son, Mason and three stepchildren, Shana, Madeline and Clay, who he called his own. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, welding and working on cars. He was prideful of his family and had recently moved them to Brownfield, Texas so that he and his wife and children were closer to each other.

Survivors include his mother, Susan Blakley; wife, Nicole Blakley; sons, Mason and Zachary Blakley, daughter, Avalynn Blakley; step-daughters, Shana and Madeline Graves; step-son, Clay Graves; sister, Ashley Blakley Payne; nephews, Blake and Tyler Payne and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. Anthony will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.
