Apolonio “Paul” Vasquez

Funeral services for Apolonio “Paul” Vasquez, Jr. will be held 10am Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a family visitation on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm. There will be a rosary held at the beginning of the visitation.

Paul passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 in Lubbock. He was Born December 14, 1951 to Apolonio “Paul” Vasquez, Sr. and Guadalupe C. Vasquez. Paul graduated from Brownfield High School. He worked for the City of Brownfield for 40 years until he retired from his position as superintendent of the water and waste water department. Paul was a very loving husband, father, and Pepaw. He will be dearly missed. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Apolonio “Paul” Vasquez, Sr.

Paul is survived by his wife Debra Vasquez of Brownfield; daughter, Rebecca Vallabhan and husband, Girish, of Lubbock; son, Paul Carlos Vasquez and Leticia of Brownfield; ten grandchildren, Aaron Martinez, Samantha Torrez, Olivia Torrez, Sonia Vallabhan, Emily Vasquez, Paul Carlos Vasquez, Jr, Ariana Vasquez, Alyssa Vasquez, Romulo Vasquez, Manny Martinez; and his mother Guadalupe Vasquez; four brothers, Joe Vasquez, John Vasquez, Raymond Vasquez and Ruben Vasquez; two sisters, Lisa Salgado and Stella Chavez.
