Services for Bailey Kay Howard, 14, of Plains will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Plains First Baptist Church with Patrick Hamilton and Byron Potter officiating. A private burial will follow in the Plains Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Bailey went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2015. She was born to Major Allen and Arlene Kay Howard on June 18, 2000 in Roosevelt, Utah. Bailey was a freshman at Plains High School. She was a member of Plains First Baptist Church and FFA. She played volleyball, basketball and ran track . She was an avid hunter and enjoyed barrel racing. Bailey was recently Terry County Rodeo Queen. She loved animals and everyone around her.
Bailey is preceded in death by her grandmother, Angel Howard; aunt, Jennifer Howard; great grandfathers, Raymond Bascom and Allen Pace and a great grandmother Arleane Pace.
Bailey is survived by her parents; Major Allen and Arlene Howard; sister, Cheyanne Howard; brother, Gage Howard; grandparents, Major and Joann Howard, Arlynn and Nina Pace; great grandparents, Cora Holmes, Illa Fay Bascom and Freddie and Billie Howard; aunts, Summer Lovelace and husband Sterling, Kristi Howard, Katie Allred and husband Ory, Tiffany Davis and Misty Davis; uncles, Kacey Davis and wife Karen, Rowdy Davis, Karter Davis, Sheldon Pace and wife Meredith, Garret Pace and wife Jessye, Dylan Pace and Uncle Preston and cousins, Sage and Slade Lovelace.
