Memorial services for Barbara Jane Jordan will be held 2 pm Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at Brownfield First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Matt Baird officiating.
Barbara passed away July 25, 2018, in Lubbock. She was born November 17, 1938, in Brownfield to Roy Anderson and Jewel Mae Sparkman. She married Gerald Ray Jordan on August 6, 1960, in Brownfield. Barbara loved fishing, SkipBo, Bridge, Dominoes, dancing, singing and playing the piano. She enjoyed helping out with work on the farm as well. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ray Jordan, and parents, Roy Anderson and Jewel Mae Sparkman.
Barbara is survived by 2 daughters, Debbie Reid and Sandra Mojica and husband Ruben; a son, Ronnie Jordan and wife Tina; 8 grandchildren, Shaunda and Shae Reid, Chase and Jordan Mojica, Tyler, Rylee and Regan Jordan, B.J. Chapman; great-grandson, Dominic Ray Mendoza.
The family requests flowers or donations be made to the Brownfield First Baptist Church Building Fund, Brownfield First Baptist Church Mission Fund or American Cancer Society.
