Saturday morning, June 5, from 9 a.m. through noon, the Friends of the Animal Shelter will be hosting their annual “Bark in the Park” event.
At this event, you can get your pet’s shots taken care of.
Rabies – $15
DA2PCV – $15
Also, Deworming – $12
And you can have your pet microchipped for only $40.
They will also be offering free nail trims, and flea and tick treatments.
There will be a bake sale and fresh lemonade with all proceeds going to Reeds Ranch and Rescue.
Temporary holding pens with covers are being built, so the animals have a place to go while they wait for transport out of the shelter. This frees up space so fewer dogs have to be euthanized. Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated. They are needing about $2,700.
The Animal Shelter is also in need of some supplies.
Dry dog food is needed. Purina dog chow or pedigree preferred. Same on dry puppy food. Donations can be dropped off at the PD or animal shelter. You can bring your donations on Saturday, as well. The Shelter is always in need of blankets and towels. Do you part and help out.
Donations can also be shipped to the PD.
