BHS National Honor Society inducts new members

The Brownfield High School National Honor Society inducted 29 new members on Wednesday morning, May 18. These were all Sophomores, with one Senior included on the list.

The induction ceremony was conducted by the current NHS officers.

New members are Ariana Garcia, Blake Brisendine, Cassandra Campos, Kayden Carroll, Braden Conn, Isabella Cruz, Baty Friesen, Jazzlyn Garcia, Sadie Garcia, Jaslyn Gomez, Vianny Hernandez, Micah Hoots, Kyndal Huerta, Stephen Jenkins, Carissa Martinez, Emalee Martinez, Kaden McPherson, Ashlyn Moore, Joel Morales, Katherine Richards, Rylee Richolson, George Rivera, Reanah Rodriguez, Brason Salas, Priya Silva, Camila Solis-Zavala, Damian Ussery, Aubree Valenzuela, and Kaden Wise.

The group were charged with upholding the standards of NHS wherever they are and to hold themselves accountable for their actions as representatives of BHS NHS.

New officers for the 2022-2023 school year were also recognized. They include:

President – Kenley Salas

Vice-President – Nathan Herrera

Secretary – Brandon Anthony

Treasurer – Edna Mendoza

Service Coordinator – Austin Sisson

The BHS NHS Advisors are DeeAnn Burris and Jill Burns.
