Funeral services for Billy Myrl Lacy will be held 2 pm Friday, May 25, 2018, at Christian Life Church with Rev. Nick Rogers officiating with burial following the service in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Billy passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Lubbock. He was born June 24, 1936, in O’Donnell to Charlie and Beaulah Lacy. He attended school in New Moore then went on to serve in the United States Army. Billy married Beverly “Tillie” Carouth on August 15, 1958, in Brownfield. He was a member of the Christian Life Church in Brownfield. Billy owned Bill’s Meat Market in Brownfield for 21 years. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Beaulah Lacy, wife, Beverly, daughter Nancy Lacy Browning, and brother Johnny Lacy.

Billy is survived by his son; Kevin Lacy and wife Mercedes of New Orleans, La, daughters; Lisa Rivas and husband Jesse of Venus, TX, Portia Kirby and husband Gary of Kingsland, TX, Susan Lacy of Brownfield, Beverly Brister and husband Jeff of Rusk, TX; son-in-law, Mitch Browning of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Derek and Logan Rivas, Carissa, Kaleb and Christian Kirby, Amber Perez, Alyssa, Elaina, Breanna Gonzales, Erik, Shane and Christopher Browning, great grandchildren; Davian, Davay and Deveny Guerrero, Kaiden and Luciana Perez, Korbyn Kirby, Rayden Mize, and Adyson Fonbuena, brother; Alvin Lacy of Hemet, CA, sister; Margaret Barr of Colorado City, TX.
