  • Total infections: 12,392 (+4,075)
  • 195 deaths (+48)
  • California has statewide sustained community spread
  • Majority of deaths are in Washington, 75 to date
  • Several preliminary studies show a combination of plaqenuil (anti-malaria medication) and Zithromax can reduce duration of the symptoms. No solid data to confirm this at this time.
  • STATES ARE NOW REPORTING THEIR OWN TOTAL CASES, CDC STATES “Now that states are testing and reporting their own results, CDC’s numbers are not representative of all testing being done nationwide.”

Texas: 

  • Current Counties w/ cases: Bell, Bexar, Bowie, Brazoria, Brazos, Collin, Crane, Dallas, Denton, El Paso, Fannin, Fort Bend, Galveston, Gregg, Harris, Hays, Lavaca, Lubbock, Hockley, Matagorda, Medina, Montgomery, Potter, Rusk, Smith, Tarrant, Travis, Van Zandt, Webb (+2)
  • A second case in Hockley county was identified
  • Governor mandated all schools, bars and dine-in restaurants to close by midnight today
  • First two cases identified in Amarillo 
  • First case in Permian basin identified, in Crane County
  • Current Counties w/ community spread: Matagorda, Montgomery, Brazoria, Dallas
  • Deaths: 5 (+2)
  • Total Texas Cases: 234 (+31)

Regional:

  • Three active cases in Lubbock at this time
  • No active cases in Terry county identified
