With just under two minutes left in the first the Cubs were able to hit a few three pointers to cut into that lead making the score 20-14. The Tigers then took the lead when Hudson Sacket was fouled after another Cub turnover and hit both free throws to take a one point lead with eighteen seconds left in the game. The Cubs called a timeout and came down the court hoping for one good look to take the lead back. Nikko hit both shots giving the Cubs the lead back with six seconds left to go in the game.
