Denver City Superintendent Gary Davis will cap off 30 years of service with a retirement reception in his honor on Thursday, July 16 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the JW Jones Performing Arts Center in Denver City.
Davis moved to Denver City in 2003, when he was named the Assistant Principal at DCHS. At the end of 2004, Davis was named DCHS Principal. He moved into the position of Assistant Superintendent in 2012. In 2014, Davis was named Superintendent of DCISD, to succeed Dag Azam.
