Funeral services for Demus D. Elmore will be held 2pm on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Shelton officiating.
There will be a family visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Demus passed away February 20, 2019 in Brownfield. He was born on September 8, 1934 in Sebastian County Arkansas to Herman Elmore and Reba Elmore. Demus married Martha Lee Barnes in Brownfield. He enjoyed his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and his great great-grandkid. Demus is preceded in death by his parents, Reba Emery and Herman Elmore; two grandsons, Shawn Mann and Daniel Garza; three sisters, Bea Emery, Louis “Lou” Wilson, and Virginia King; three brothers, Lenual Elmore, Elmer Elmore, and Rocky Elmore.
Demus is survived by his wife, Martha Lee Elmore of Brownfield; son, Danny Elmore of Brownfield; 5 daughters, Latricia Westberry and husband of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Rosa Brown and husband of Brownfield, Violet Garcia and partner of Brownfield, Glenna Houston and husband of Brownfield, and Susan Elmore-Garza and husband of Lubbock; 26 grandkids, 45 great-grandkids, 1 great great-grandkid; 2 sisters Lana Webb and June Kiker; and 4 brothers, Sam Elmore, Charles Elmore, Johnny Elmore, and Ricky Elmore.
