Ernesto was born November 7, 1927 in Clairemont to Luis and Guadalupe Pauda. He married Maria Salas on March 11, 1946 in Brownfield. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Ernesto had a real passion working as a laborer in the vineyards until the age of 78. He was a ball of love to his family. He loved his wife greatly and made each of his children feel like a favorite every time he spoke to them. Ernesto loved music, dancing and to play his accordion. He was also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Guadalupe Pauda, 5 brothers and sisters, 2 grandchildren, Justin and Joshua Pauda, and 1 great grandchild Liam Jesse Jones.
Ernesto is survived by his wife Maria Pauda; 9 children, Mary Armenta and husband, Roberto, of Brownfield, Jesse Pauda and wife, Charlotte, of Brownfield, Linda Sigala and husband Eligio of Brownfield, Virginia Pauda of Brownfield, Ernesto Pauda Jr. and wife, Yolanda, of Brownfield, Danny Pauda and wife, Virginia, of Wichita, Ks, Juan Pauda of Round Rock, Ruben Pauda of Cedar Park, Betty Sue Elmore and husband, Chris, of Brownfield, 31 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; brother, Gregorio Pauda of Lubbock; and sister, Guadalupe Davila of McAllen.
