Esteban “Steve” Navarro was 64 years old, born on March 22, 1957, in Brownfield, Texas to Juan and Consuelo Navarro. Steve passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 10, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.

He was the life of the party, a free spirit, always joking around and trying to make everyone laugh. One of his most favorite pastimes was trying to get a scare out of anyone he could. He enjoyed spending time with family and sharing a meal while telling stories from his younger years. Many people remember him for his love of classic rock. He loved those in his life with all his heart and wanted the best for everyone. He was a man of faith and even in the times when his faith was tested he always found his way back.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Consuelo Navarro; sisters, Manuela Gonzalez, Dolores Hernandez, and Juanita Callahan-Caro; nephew, Ruben Gonzalez; niece, Anjelica Janey Torrez.

Steve is survived by his daughter Stephany Navarro of Lubbock; son, Esteban “Steve” Navarro II and wife Cristina of Brownfield; granddaughters, Emalyn, Hailyn, and Stevie; siblings, Santos Navarro, Francisco Navarro, Juan Jose Navarro, Isabel Navarro, Anjelica Ruiz; and numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 5:00 p.m.-8 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care-Brownfield Chapel in Brownfield, Texas. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brownfield, proceeded by burial at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
