Funeral services for Geneva Rocile McConal, 85, of Loop will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016m at 10:30 a.m. in the Loop Church of Christ with Bro. Larry Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Loop Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.
Geneva was born May 6, 1931, in Lovington, N.M. to Tom Olen and Clarene Mauldin Hunt. Geneva and Charles Keith McConal were married on Dec. 23, 1949, in Lovington, N.M. She was a member of the Loop Church of Christ, graduated from Loop High School in 1948, had been employed for 12 years with the Loop ISD, she loved cooking and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband Keith McConal on Dec. 15, 2010; three brothers and one sister.
Geneva is survived by two sons, Barry McConal and his wife Maribeth of Lubbock, Rickey McConal of Denver City; one daughter, Gail Crow and her husband Norman of Loop; two sisters, Mariethel McConal and her husband Garland of Kerrville, Quay Roberts and her husband Larry of Eastland; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends visitation will be Friday, Aug. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Seagraves.
