Holy Week still on schedule

by admin

Even though the COVID-19 has us separated, nothing separates us from the love of Christ and from observing those special days associated with His death, burial and resurrection. Holy Week is traditionally observed as the week leading up to resurrection. It is marked by a service held each day honoring the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on the cross.

Holy Week will look a bit different this year. Obviously, there will be no community gatherings. But, this does not mean that Holy Week won’t be observed by the churches in Terry County.

Each day, on social media, one of the County pastors will post a devotional video. There may be more than one each day. Check each church’s Facebook page for the messages each day. TownTalk Radio will try to share these posts daily so you can access them more easily.

This is such a special week, so do not let it go without acknowledging it. Even when we are apart, we are still together in Him. Now, perhaps more than ever in our lifetimes, it is time to seek the Lord. Let Him use this time to grow you in your faith.
