Janie Lona Brown was born July 1, 1936, in Pool, TX ( near Meadow). She graduated from Meadow High School in 1954. She married Robert Berryhill (deceased) in 1955, together they had four daughters. She married James Wilkerson (deceased) in 1995, gaining two stepdaughters.
Janie lived in many small towns in Texas, including Pool, Meadow, Brownfield, Lubbock, Leander, Marble Falls, Cleburne and Liberty Hill.
She has fours daughters, Pam Berryhill (deceased), Cyndie Pirtle of New Braunfels, Angi Mize of Grand Prairie and Regina Taylor of Liberty Hill; two stepdaughters Lori Palmgren of Duncanville and Lisa Rhea of Granbury. She has nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren (including step). She has five brothers and two sisters.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Weed-Corley-Fish Leander Chapel.
