Jennifer Lynn Cruz, age 27 passed from this life on April 18, 2015 in Lubbock.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 24, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Personal services have been entrusted to Mark A Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.
Jennifer was born to Gilbert and Enedila Cruz on September 4, 1987 in Levelland, TX
She moved to Lubbock in 2006 from Brownfield. She was a 2005 graduate of Brownfield.
She enjoyed dancing to music playing volleyball and baseball. Jennifer loved spending time with family and watching the TV show Empire.
Her family remembers how she was a beauty queen that loved doing makeover to make people beautiful. Jennifer was a lovable, caring and full of life her hobby’s included shopping, staying fit, playing cars with her son and playing softball with her daughter. Jennifer was the glue that kept her family together.
Those left to cherish her memories are parents: Gilbert and Enedila Cruz of Brownfield; daughter: Jalysa Carrillo of Lubbock; 1 son: Urijah Carrillo of Lubbock; 2 brothers: Gilbert Jr. and Michael Cruz both of Brownfield; 1 sister: Dolores Morin and husband Marciano of brownfield; and her paternal grandparents: Domingo and Maria Cruz of Gomez. She also blessed with 5 nephews and 3 niece and several aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Lionel and Maria Elena Gonzalez and 1 niece: Avery Cruz.
