Larry Carl McCullough, 77 of Brownfield, TX. went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
Larry was born on September 17, 1938 in Slaton and was the oldest of six children born to Lonnie C. McCullough and Annie (JoAnn) E. Brasfield McCullough. He is preceded in death by parents and his brother, Roy F. McCullough. Larry served in the United States Air Force from 1956 until he retired in 1977. His years of service included a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1964 to 1965.
Larry is survived by his wife, Corina Gonzales of 6 years of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Sherry McCullough Trabing of Cumberland, MD. and Shelby McCullough Birdsell of Edgewater, MD; 6 step-daughters, Sylvia Escabedo, Irma A. Escabedo, and Jennifer L. Escabedo all from Brownfield; Brianna Cruz, Gabrielle Cruz and Brittany Cruz all of Lubbock; 4 siblings, Judy Livingston of Mooreville, NC, Michael McCullough of Augusta, GA, Kathy Riley of Evans, GA, Mary Ellison of Augusta, GA and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
