I have stated several time Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the gift that keeps on giving…Well now she has really topped herself, actually one of her top staffers has…Fox News ran a story several days ago which sheds new light on what really is going on. Rep, Cortez’s Chief of Staff has admitted that the Green New Deal isn’t about the environment, no not at all, it’s about restructuring the economy. Saikat Chakrabarti said in May, “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t a climate thing at all.” He was talking to Sam Ricketts, climate director for Gov. Jay “The President is the Biggest Geopolitical Threat” Inslee, who greeted the statement with an “attentive poker face.” “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” Chakrabarti then asked. “Because we really think of it as a how-do-change-the-entire-economy thing.”Hmmmm so the real idea behind this whole Green New Deal, which pretty much every Democratic Presidential hopeful, except for Joe Biden, is touting as the what will save the world. Now folks this and the other drivel she and the other three stooges are spouting scare me on several different levels. AOC and her friends hate this country, our flag, Christians, and Jews. So this plan among other things is simply another way to try to ruin our economy and this country. We have to be more vocal and involved. These folks have an agenda, and it’s not good.
Over the weekend the President basically said what a lot of us have been thinking since this little group came to power in the Democratic Party. I will paraphrase here, but he told them, “If you don’t like it here go back where you came from and fix things there.” Now there are again calls for impeachment and Pelosi in a bid to curry favor with the Four Freshman has introduced a resolution to condemn the President’s statements. Well I don’t recall the House doing anything when Omar and Tlaib have uttered the F-word, uttered some of the most anti-Semitic garbage, and talked about how terrible this country is…. The Democratic Party has been pretty much silent…so folks this should open your eyes as to who is really running the Democratic Party and who will drive the party’s platform as we’ve seen with the twenty-five running for the nomination going into 2020…
As an American I can say once again I’m tired of these folks running the country down, and their efforts to make us another Venezuela. Their hatred of Christians, Jews and any of the principles the country was founded on should wake people up. Instead we continue to allow the spuing of hatred from those elected to protect and defend our constitution. Which they fail to understand allows them the right to say what they want too, but they seem to think that right is only theirs. Anyone who speaks up against their open borders and hatred of all things American is instantly cast as a racist, and if they’re a public servant the main stream media jumps on and works to ruin them. The Kavanaugh hearings showed America the Democratic play book, which is basically do anything to keep their power, at any cost. Ruin a person’s good name, tell outright lies about them, bring in false witnesses whatever it takes. Anyone who disagrees is fair game and to hell with them.
I remember growing up when the folks representing us in Washington, DC would argue mightily against each other, but at the end of the day they respected each other’s views. There was no seeking to destroy someone because they held different beliefs, they legislated and agreed to disagree and went on. Tip O’Neil as Speaker of the House disagreed with President Reagan on his policies, but while they went back and forth and there were heated exchanges they still were cordial to each other. One of the best things I’ve seen was a video of an event at Lincoln Center with the Reagans and the O’Neil’s sitting together and enjoying an evening and laughing together. What I wouldn’t give to go back to those days where everyone loved the country, and worked and debated for their ideals, then at the end of the day could be adults…maybe someday we’ll see it again…and maybe we’ll see the media go back to reporting the news instead of being propaganda outlets…maybe but I doubt it…
