Lori Jean McCullough was born on February 10, 1963 to Clyde and Glenda McCullough in Brownfield, Texas. She was the youngest of three children. Lori married her high school sweetheart Guadalupe Mendez on August 13, 1979. They spent the next 42 years together raising a family and making memories.
Throughout her life, Lori worked at many places around Brownfield including Dairy Queen, Continental Credit, Walmart and United. She enjoyed spending time with her family- especially her grandchildren. Lori always had a smile to share and a silly song to sing.
Lori is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Mendez of Brownfield; mother, Glenda McCullough of Brownfield; children, Jacob Mendez (Amanda) of Brownfield, Jayson Mendez (Megan) of Wolfforth, and Lynzi Mireles (Joe) of Brownfield; adopted children, Jacinto and Clarissa; grandchildren, Olivia, Elizabeth, Alazeah, Dagen, Seth, Hannah, Jace, Cole, Ava, Eevee, Gabby, Avan and other adopted grandchildren; and great-grandchild Isaac.
Lori is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Lewis McCullough, and brother, Jimmy Wayne McCullough.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in Lori’s name to The Cancer Foundation.
