Lucille Bullington, age 100, went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence in Midlothian.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Loop with Pastor Jerry Bingham officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery in Loop.
Lucille was born on April 22, 1915 to James and Nancy Bagwell in Dumont, Texas. She met and married the love of her life, William Jefferson Bullington on January 12, 1933 in Brownfield. He precedes her in death, after 42 years of marriage, in 1975.
Her family remembers how she loved being around her family. Lucille was most proud of her children and grandchildren.
Her hobbies were sewing, gardening and cooking. She loved to cook and feed everyone.
Those left to cherish her memories are: 1 daughter: Frances Bullington Slack of Midlothian. She was also blessed with 2 grandchildren: Timmy and Jeffery Slack, and 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Jerry Wayne and 1 daughter: Dorothey Evelyn Bullington.
