Lydia Ann Jowers

March 6, 1950 – June 22, 2022

Lydia Ann Jowers, 72, of Brownfield went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

The family has planned a memorial service for 2:00 pm Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Welch Church of Christ, officiated by Kalith Brown.

Lydia was born in Haskell, TX on March 6, 1950 to Harold and Earlene (Ammons) Meyers. She primarily grew up in Pampa with her grandparents, Earl and Nora Ammons before meeting the love of her life, Billy Jowers, while visiting family in Brownfield. They married on May 4, 1976 and remained in Brownfield raising their two boys, Chris and JBob.

Her favorite past time was shopping and crafts. She was known for the beautiful journals she made and shared with friends. Lydia had a very generous heart and was always willing to help others. She loved her family and always tried to put them first – they will miss her daily phone calls checking in on them.

Lydia is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and her brother, Lynn.

She is survived by her husband, Billy; 2 sons, Chris Jowers (Kenda) of Weatherford, and JBob Jowers (Jennifer) of Meadow; a brother, Cody Myers of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and her baby, Susie, her chubby chihuahua who will miss all the extra Beggin’ Strips Lydia snuck her.
