Workers recently spent a few days re-staining the wood at the Lynn Brisendine Community Plaza on The Square in Brownfield. The Plaza, dedicated in honor of long-time Brownfield News Publisher and great community supporter Lynn Brisendine, has been in need of some freshening up.
Also, the new sign was powder coated and hung. The sign was built by the welding students at Brownfield High School and looks great!
The Plaza is open to the public at just about anytime, however, it can be rented through the City for $25 if you want to guarantee your spot for parties and celebrations. If you need to use electricity, the fee is $50.
The Plaza is busy quite often throughout the spring and summer months and is a great place to just relax and enjoy the close of the day. Surrounded by the historic brick streets, it is a peaceful place to sit and enjoy some of the great things Brownfield has to offer.
