Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Pitts, 83, of Plains will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the Plains Cemetery with Rev. Patrick Hamilton officiating, with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. She passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Plains.
Mary Elizabeth was born July 14, 1935, in Odessa, Texas to Norris L and Nettie Mae Ray Crownover.
She was in Nursing for over twenty years and a member of the Plains Community since 2004.
Mary Elizabeth married Roy Wilkins who preceded her in death in 1972 and in 1979 she married Allen Pitts who also preceded her in 2015. Mary Elizabeth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plains, she loved God, family and country. Blessed by God all her life.
Mary Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandson Jeremy D. Holbert. She is survived by her three daughters Debbie Lewis and her husband Pat of San Angelo, Robyn McMillan and Susan Zenk and her husband Tim all of Fairmont, Minnesota; two sons Dave Wilkins and his wife Kim and Rodger Wilkins and his wife Sandra all of Plains; along with 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
