The Brownfield McDonald’s opened their doors up to the public this week.

The drive through has been the only way to get a big-mac, in Brownfield, since mid June. The dining room was closed so that an extensive remodel could be done.

The remodel completed the Phase 2 updates to the local restaurant. The kitchen was updated in 2014, which was Phase 1.

The new look is more of a contemporary design. There are several different murals on the walls. The menus are completely digital.

The playground was removed and the interior wall was moved out 9 feet to create more seating. Overall the restaurant will now seat 30 more patrons.

There are sparkle tables for the kids, with lights that change colors and disappear when touched. New televisions have been installed also.

New paint and flooring also make the inside look like a whole new place.

We spoke with franchise owner Bill Cohen and he is very pleased with the new look.

To celebrate the grand reopening there will be a ribbon cutting on September 6th.

There will also be special promotional menu items. September 1 through September 4 sausage biscuits will be $1, $1 four piece nuggets and .50 A La Carte 30 ounce drinks.

September 9 through September 11 the specials will include 3 pancakes for $1.50, free small french fry with the purchase of a sandwich and .50 A La Carte 30 ounce drink.

You will also be able to enter a drawing when you dine-in. On September 12 Brownfield McDonald’s will be giving away 2 bicycles, a years worth of Big Macs (1 a week for a year), 30 days worth of ice cream cones and 14 days worth of french fries. You do not need to be present to win.

If you have not made it in yet make sure and stop by soon.
