Meadow Track Star Joplin signs to keep on running

Meadow Lady Bronco Senior Nicole Joplin signed her letter of intent to continue her track career at Kansas Wesleyan after graduation. The signing ceremony took place on the MHS Football Field under the lights on Tuesday night. The crowd, who stayed in their cars to maintain social distancing, honked as the signing was completed.

Nicole stated, “I am excited to continue running at the next level. It has always been a dream of mine to run college track and it is such a blessing. I am a hard worker and will push myself to do whatever they need me to do.”

Nicole will be running Cross Country and Track for KWU. She has been a sprinter for the Lady Broncos.

Nicole’s coach Nicholas Tarr stated, “Nicole is a great athlete. She has tremendous speed. She will be a great asset to Kansas Wesleyan.”

Nicole’s Coach at KWU checked in on Social Media and stated, “We can’t wait to have Nicole on our team. She is a great one.”

Nicole was joined at the signing by her mother and father Sheila and Bryan Joplin, and sister Hailee.
