Michael “Baby” Martinez 14 passed away from this life on March 24, 2018, in Brownfield, Texas. Michael was born April 9, 2003, in Brownfield, Texas to Christopher Paul Martinez and Jennifer Martinez. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 30, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Templo Betel in Brownfield. Viewing will be Wednesday, March 28th, from 9:00 am-9:00 pm and again on March 29th, from 9:00 am- 9:00 pm. The family will be receiving family and friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Head Duarte Funeral Home and Chapel of Brownfield. Michael is preceded in death by Grandparents and Great Grandparents-Antonia Martinez, Celia Valdez, Pedro and Catarina Trevino, Lila Garza and Gustavo Gomez, uncles-Ray Gomez and Victoriano Martinez and aunts- Rosa Trevino and Blanca Martinez.
Michael is survived by his parents – Christopher Paul Martinez, mother Jennifer Martinez, and Step-Father Joshua Martinez. He is also survived by his four brothers- Christopher Martinez, Lucyano Gomez, Devinrey Barrera and King Martinez all of Brownfield and one sister-Heaven Gomez also of Brownfield.
A prayer service will be held for Michael at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 29th, at the Head Duarte Funeral Home.
After the services on Friday, the Interment will be held at the City of Brownfield Cemetery.
Michael was an 8th-grade student here at Brownfield Middle School at the time of his passing. Michael liked to skateboard, play his guitar and hang out with his friends listening to the Eagles and Rap. Michael will be missed by all who have ever gotten to know him because he was always the one who liked to make people laugh.
