Funeral services for Mildred Ann Butler, 81, of Denver City will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. in the Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Garcia officiating and Randy Gooch assisting. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park with Services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

She passed away November 13, 2018, in Denver City, Texas.

Mildred was born April 23, 1937, in Stamford, Texas to Hubert and Neada Gillian Lumpkin. She married Elmer Butler on September 17, 1952, in Brownfield, Texas. Mildred has been an LVN Nurse since 1968 and was employed by Yoakum County Hospital for over 20 years before her retirement. A former member of Bethel Baptist Church and then later Trinity Baptist Church.

Mildred was preceded in death by two brothers Archie Lumpkin and Kenneth Lumpkin.

Mildred is survived by her husband Elmer Butler of the home; a son David Butler and his wife Lori of Denver City; a daughter Kay Ellis and her husband Phillip of Seagraves; two brothers Robert Lumpkin and his wife Debra of Coleman, John T. Lumpkin and his wife Susan of Comanche; three sisters Elsie Edwards and Edith Rimmer and her husband Ron all of Powers, Oregon, Dorothy Durbin and her husband John of Wewoka, Oklahoma; along with ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Friday, November 16, 2018, in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.
