Patricia “Pat” Lowrey (1945-2018)

Patricia Lowrey, known to friends as “Pat’ passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the age of 73 years after a lengthy illness. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Tracy Lowrey of Lubbock, Tonya and Shannon Patton and their children Makenzie and Mason all of Lubbock, and Kevin Lowrey and his children Lauren and Bristan all of Idalou, and Justin Lowrey of Lubbock. Pat is also survived by her mother, Betty Martin Peach of Lubbock; sister, Sharon Hansen of New Hampshire, and sister, Janice Armacost and husband Charlie from Idalou. Pat was preceded in death by her dad, Millard Martin and sister, Norma Jean Jones.

A funeral service in memory of Pat will be held on, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1 p.m., at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, 6025 82d Street, Lubbock, TX, with Pastor Brad Layton officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Plains Cemetery, Plains, TX. The family will be accepting visitors at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, Monday, September 10, 2018, from 6 to 8 pm. A native of Brownfield, TX, Pat also lived in Tokio and Lubbock. Pat was a hairdresser for over 45 years in Lubbock, Plains, and Denver City. All those who knew Pat knew her most treasured possession was her three children and her five grandchildren, who called her “Gigi”. Pat always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She had a contagious laugh and everyone always enjoyed time spent with her. She especially loved the holidays and being with her family. Pat had many talents some of those things being, painting ceramics, decorating, and gardening. She loved spending time in her backyard and taking care of her plants and trees.

Pat is loved by all and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
