Paul Peevy

August 28, 1948 – June 22, 2020

Funeral Services for Paul Peevy, 71, of Denver City will be held at 10:00 A.M.  Thursday, June 25, 2020 in the First Baptist Church, Denver City, Texas with Rev. Randy Gooch  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Paul passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. 

He was born August 28, 1948, in Mulberry, Arkansas to Burl and Carrenia Morse Peevy.  He married Sharon Snider on November 15, 1972 in Alma, Arkansas.  Paul was in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971, he was owner and operator of Peevy Oilfield Service, Inc for thirty-seven years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Velta, Marylou and Clara 

Paul is survived by his wife Sharon Peevy of the home; three sons John Peevy and his wife Christy of Wolfforth, Adam Peevy and his wife Marcella of Denver City, Bray Peevy of Round Rock; a daughter Alesha Ford and her husband Steve of Sweetwater; two brothers Dean Peevy, Jerry Peevy; three sisters Carolyn Johnston, Janet Peevy, Kathie Pitzer; four grandchildren Kolton Ford, Samantha Ford, Rachel Peevy, Johannah Peevy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.
