Pauline Reyna Carrasco, 82 of Lubbock, passed peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016. Visitation for family and friends was held at 6 p.m., Friday Nov. 4, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Celebration of life services were held Saturday, Nov. 5, at Freedom Baptist Church, 40th and Ave B, Lubbock at 10 a.m. with Pastor Tony Morin officiating.
Pauline was born June 26, 1934, in Kingsbury, Texas, and was raised in Post, Texas. Pauline married Tony O. Carrasco on July 10, 1954, in Lubbock. Pauline was a homemaker, opening her home to her children, grandchildren, and was Mom to many. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Subia-Martinez (Arturo) of Brownfield, Herminia Martinez and Zora Escamilla of Lubbock; sons, Lewis Dino Carrasco (Sandy) and Jonathan Carrasco, both of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Loy Perez of Lubbock; and brothers, Juan Bustoz Jr. of Lubbock and Ernesto Bustoz of Post.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Tony and a son, Chris Anthony.
