Funeral services for Pedro Rempel, age 69 of Brownfield, Texas will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Mennonite Church with Pastor Henry Martens officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Rempel was born in Mexico November 16, 1952 to Aganetha (Unger) and Bernhard Rempel. He married Susana Dyck in Seminole, Texas August 31, 2014. He was a member of New Life Mennonite Church and worked as a farmer. Pedro was a strong believer in Jesus Christ. He loved the outdoors, gardening, and teasing his grandchildren. He was very meticulous for being neat and organized. He loved his two dogs, Fluffy and Blackie.
Pedro Rempel passed away in Petty, Texas on November 19, 2021. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Susana, in 2013; two brothers, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Susana Rempel of Brownfield, Texas; three sons, David Rempel and wife Lena of Seminole, Texas, Frank Rempel of Houston, Texas, and Johan Rempel and wife Agatha of Seminole, Texas; five stepsons, David Neufeld and wife Lisa of Seminole, Texas, Henry Neufeld and wife Margie of Seminole, Texas, Johan Neufeld and wife Anna of Canada, Jacob Neufeld and wife Linda of Seminole, Texas, and Peter Neufeld of Brownfield, Texas; one daughter, Agatha Vanbuskirk and husband James of Seminole, Texas; two stepdaughters, Susie Neufeld and husband Pete of Lamesa, Texas, and Eva Wiebe and husband Abraham of Brownfield, Texas; five brothers, Frank Rempel and wife Katarina of Mexico, Jacob Rempel and wife Susana of Canada, George Rempel of Canada, William Rempel and wife Margaret of Seminole, Texas, and David Rempel and wife Margie of Canada; four sisters, Sara Wolfe and husband Cornelius of Mexico, Lena Krahn and husband Jacob of Canada, Susana Peters and husband David of Canada, and Anna Hamm and husband Abe of Canada; 33 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
