Lubbock- Peggy Jenell Barron passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m., today, June 12, 2018 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 91 years on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the Seagraves Cemetery. Peggy was born on August 8, 1926, to the late Edward and Bernie (Snell) Hodges at Nugent, TX. She graduated from Lueders High School. On October 12, 1943, she married Wayne Barron in Abilene. Peggy worked as a Cafeteria Supervisor for Denver City ISD.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Barron, Jr.; children, Leslie Jenell McCormick, Larry Wayne (Jerri) Barron, and Steven Lynn (Marva) Barron; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved caregiver, Anita Madrigal.
