Our community has suffered greatly this year, and is still suffering, as is our country. We don’t know when this disease will let up. We don’t know who we will lose next. We have no clue where this road is leading us. But, we know the One who knows the road.
A prayer gathering has been organized by some local citizens and is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, November 22nd at 2 p.m. on The Square. People are asked to park around the Courthouse.
Those interested are asked to stay socially distanced from each other, preferably staying in your cars, and to wear a mask if you step outside your car. Prayers will be led by some of our area ministers. Everyone is welcomed to attend.
We know prayer changes things and we know we need to call on His Name.
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now My eyes shall be open, and My ears attentive unto the prayers that are made in this place.”
II Chronicles 7:14-15.
