Brownfield welcomed two new businesses and one new business partner to town this week.
Ribbon cuttings were held by the Brownfield Chamber of Commerce, with Lorena Valencia as Executive Director.
On Tuesdsay afternoon, a ribbon cutting was held at Antima Cellars at Narra Vineyards. This is located on FM 303 just down from South Plains Implement, on what is known locally as Foster Road. The address is 1756 FM 403. Their phone number is 806.500.7785.
Antima Cellars is a tasting room in the middle of beautiful Narra Vineyards. They will host tastings and special events.
On Wednesday morning, August 4, a ribbon cutting was held at Edward Jones. Mike Speed, who has been with the Brownfield office of Edward Jones since the beginning, welcomed Marshall Martell as a new partner in the business. Mike had pictures of the original Ribbon Cutting from 1995.
Marshall is excited to be in Brownfield and is moving to town. He has plans to be active in the community and civic clubs once he gets moved in. He also loves sports, so he will be a regular face at all local sporting events. We certainly welcome Marshall to town.
On Thursday, August 5, a ribbon cutting was held at Dragonfly Getaway, an Air BnB located at 1711 East Reppto. This is Caryn Caballero’s second Air BnB in Brownfield. Her other is located on East Tate. She has done surprisingly well with these. She stated they stay booked up most of the time.
Her Air BnB’s can be found on the airbnb.com site as Stonehaus and Dragonfly Getaway.
Welcome to all these new businesses and people!! Brownfield is a great place to live and work!!
