Ronnie B. Hickson passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 8, 2017, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 75 years on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Ropesville with internment to follow.

Ronnie was born on March 25, 1942, to the late Oscar and Lois Hickson in Brownfield and graduated from Brownfield High School in 1961. He was an employee of TxDOT for thirty years and a member of the Terry Co. Sheriff’s Posse. Ronnie married Ann Ryals on May 25, 1990. He attended First Baptist Church, Ropesville. Ronnie loved his church and the Lord.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Ann Ryals Hickson of Lubbock; five children, Kurt L. Hickson and wife, Carrie; and Brandi Hickson all of Lubbock; Lynn Jackson and wife, Connie of Wolfforth; Lane Jackson and wife, Missy; and Lucretia Lowe and husband, Bill all of Ropesville; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Hickson and wife, Carole of Brownfield; and Eddie Hickson of Lubbock.
