Mrs. Rosa M. Vera 58, of Brownfield passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday January 17, 2022.
A visitation will take place at Grace Funeral Care -Brownfield Chapel Sunday January 23, 2022, 5-8 p.m. with a prayer vigil beginning at 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday January 24, 2022, 11 a.m. at the same location. She will be laid to rest in the Brownfield Cemetery.
Rosa was born October 24, 1964, in Brownfield, Texas to Jose A. Martinez and Refugia Aguirre. Rosa was a strong woman and was the glue that held her family together. She enjoyed family time and loved them the most. She loved music and enjoyed dancing.
Rose worked as a Crossing Guard for Brownfield ISD, and in her younger years served as a waitress.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband; Robert Vera, children; Robert Jr., Anthony, Mindy, and Kino. She also leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Aaliyah, Lysiah, Caden, her parents; Jose and Refugia Martinez and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son; Eric Vera, grandson; Angel M. Vera and other relatives Maria, Tommy, Jose, Juan, and Olivia.
