There will be a regular meeting of the Seagraves City Council on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Seagraves Community Building.

  1. Call Meeting to Order-Announce a Quorum
  2. Pledge of Allegiance
  3. Invocation.
  4. Roll Call for Council Members.

  1. Approve minutes from the previous meetings.
  2. Public Comment, (Limit 3 Minutes).
  3. Commissioner Brian Rosson will address the council.
  4. Pass Ordinance concerning ATMOS Energy Proposed rate decrease.
  5. Pass Ordinance to Repeal the Exemption for collecting sales tax on Telecommunications.
  6. Municipal Court Report.
  7. Police Report. (11-A: pass a resolution to accept the Police Department’s 2017 RacialProfiling Report. (required by law) (11-B: pass a resolution to accept (1) one “Un-Marked”

    Police Unit (suggested/required by law)

  8. Administrative Report and Approve Monthly Bills.
  9. Public Works Report.Set the Date for the Next Meeting.

The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters listed on the agenda, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, including, but not limited to, Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.087 (Economic Development), 418.175-183 (Deliberations about Homeland Security Issues) and as authorized by the Texas Tax Code, including, but not limited to, Section 321.3022 (Sales Tax Information).

The City Council reserves the right to change the order of items on the agenda. Agenda items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate persons appearing before the City Council and/or to aid in the effectiveness of the meeting. Should any final action, final decision, or final vote be required in the opinion of the City Council with regard to any matter considered in such closed or executive meeting or session, then such final action, final decision, or final vote shall be at either: a. the open meeting covered by this notice upon the reconvening of this public meeting, or b. at a subsequent public meeting of the City Council upon notice thereof, as the Board shall determine.
