Seagraves Police Department brought the community of Seagraves together for their 3rd Annual Seagraves Night Out, which was held on Tuesday, October 4.

The festivities started with a First Responders parade through the town. The Seagraves PD patrol unit lead the group that included the Gaines County Sheriff’s Office, EMT and Fire Department. The parade ended at the Travis Bagley Park where there was already a small crowd beginning to gather. People continued to come throughout the evening.

Some of the activities included face painting and bounce houses. The fire trucks and ambulances were open for people to look inside. There were burgers and hot dogs being cooked for the people to have a free meal. There was a K-9 demonstration as well.

The First Responders had games for the kids and adults to participate in and prizes were given away to the winners. There was also a raffle for attendees to put their name in for door prizes.

The Police Department made the rounds through town to visit with any one that was outside their home.

This was a free event hosted by the Seagraves Police Department. The department plans on holding this event annually each year in order to show the community that the Police are there to help make Seagraves a better place to live and raise a family.
