The 2021 State Champion Lady Cubs received their Championship rings in a ceremony on Tuesday night, November 30, just prior to the Lady Cubs game against Tascosa, which they won, by the way.

The Ladies’ rings were graciously purchased by Rod Warren, and the local Sonic group. Warren and members of his staff were on hand for the presentation.

Warren expressed his gratitude for the team and what they brought to Brownfield. “We are proud of you and grateful for the excitement you have brought to Brownfield. We are glad we could be a part of honoring you.”

Before the presentation, Gabi Fields spoke in behalf of the team and gave Sonic a signed picture from State, as well as a signed basketball, to thank them for all they have done.

BISD Superintendent Chris Smith recognized each girl and the honors they had received following the season. Assistant Superintendent Melissa Oliva and Athletic Director Aarrhon Flores assisted with the ring presentation.
