The Terry County Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, September 27 in the Basement Meeting Room of the Terry County Courthouse.
Karen Grigsby, County Treasurer presented the 2022 insurance rates from Texas Association of Counties. The local medical rate went up 7.5%, and the local dental rate went up 6.8%. Grigsby stated the County will continue to cover dependent insurance since the county has not been able to give raises. “We just felt like we needed to continue this service this year, as we have not been able to give raises.” The plan will stay the same. The Commissioners did approve this item.
County Elections Office Coordinator Krystal Valentin was at the meeting to present the Election Judges and Alternate Judges for the upcoming November 2, 2021 election.

The Commissioners did approve these judges and alternates.
The October 12 meeting was moved to October 18, due to conflicts.
A Soil Conservation project was approved for Precinct 4.
Following regular business, the meeting was adjourned. The next Commissioners Court will be held on Monday, October 18.
