The 74th Annual Terry County Harvest Festival will be celebrated on Thursday, September 30, and Friday and Saturday, October 1 and 2. This event annually brings people into town to celebrate, shop, eat and have fun! This year’s theme is God Bless Texas!
The festivities begin with the Annual Talent Show on Thursday, September 30 at the BISD Auditorium on East Broadway. The show will begin at 7 p.m. Along with the Queen Candidates, dancers from Forever Elite Dance of Brownfield will be performing, as well as other special guests.
The show will once again be emceed by Mudflap, DJ from KLLL Radio and co host of the Jeff, Mudflap and Friends Morning Show. He is always entertaining.
Judges for the Talent Show will be Hope Kostedt, Tonia Granto Newsom, Mallory Jade Williams, and Katie Hancock Loera.
Layne Marlow will give the Welcome and Gina Kelly will give the invocation.

The 2020 Holiday Little Miss will also be participating. She is Miss Zaidree Pauda, daughter of Eric and Victoria Pauda
Crown Bearer is Dylan Hickson, son of Jerry and Laci Hickson.
The Flower Princesses are Hayden Tells, Brynlee Castaneda, Delaney Myatt, Oakleigh Cudd, and Ella Swaringen.
Queen Mother is Kaitlan Horrell. She is the wife of Nathan Horrell and mom to three sons.
Socials Coordinator is Cara Burran Simmons. Cara is a former Harvest Festival Queen and mom to three children.
At the Talent Show, Miss Congeniality will be named. This winner is voted on by the contestants.
On Friday, there will be a Car Cruise beginning at 6:30. The Cruise will begin in the park, and you do not have to be entered into the Car Show to participate. The Cruise will go downtown and around the Sonic. Crank your music up, roll your windows down and join the fun.
At 7 p.m., there will be a free concert in the park with Chase the Night Band providing the entertainment. Chase the Night’s bio says, “Country with a little bit of rock & soul to soothe things down just right but enough grit to pick you up in an instant.” This should be a fun night of great entertainment!
On Saturday morning will be the Annual Harvest Festival Parade. The Parade begins at 10 a.m. and will conclude in the Park.
The festivities in the Park begin at 11 a.m. And the Car Show also begins at 11. Entry fee for the Car Show is $25.
Awards will be given for Best in Class, Chamber’s Choice, Best in Show and cash prizes, as well.
There will be drawings throughout the day, with food and fun booths scattered around with all you could ever want! There will also be music and other entertainment all day long!!
Coronation of the Queen will be at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheater.
